Abstract
This equipment may be configured to multiplex from 12 to 600 lower sideband vf channels (in 12-channel increments) for transmission over microwave radio relay and tropospheric scatter systems. The vf channels (0 to 4 kHz) are capable of handling voice, digital data, telegraph, facsimile, or other graphic information. Multiplexer sets of specific channel capacities can be configured by selecting the appropriate variable multiplexer groups provided within the Multiplex Equipment family. Operability: MTBF - 500 hours; MTTR - 1 hour. Environmental: -62 C (-80 F) to +71 C (+125 F). (Author)
