Abstract

The Multiplexer Group OA-7371/UCC-4(V) multiplexes 12 input voice frequency (300 to 3500 kHz) channels, together with a 104.080 kHz pilot signal to a multiplexed output signal in the 60 to 108 kHz band. This is accomplished by the use of 12 carrier frequencies (64, 72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 100, 104, and 108 kHz). One vf channel is obtained from the lower sideband of each demodulating carrier frequency.
