SYSTEM COUPLED DYNAMIC INSTABILITY AMPLITUDE LIMITING ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION.

Abstract

This report is concerned with the study of instabilities, generally referred to as POGO, resulting from coupling between liquid-fueled propulsion systems and structural dynamics. The report deals specifically with analysis of active and passive methods of stability compensation, methods of predicting POGO limit cycle amplitudes, and statistical methods of evaluating POGO stability margins.
