LOCAL CONTROL PROGRAM (LCP) FOR THE CDC 1604B COMPUTER.

Abstract

The INTIP system is a general purpose, time shared, computing facility employing a number of computers connected to each other through an electronic switch. One of the computers, the control computer, with its executive, the Executive Control Program, (ECP), monitors the operation of the other computers. Each of the other computers, however, has its own executive called a Local Control Program (LCP). A Local Control Program monitors all the operations in its computer. In particular, a function of all LCPs is that of communicating with the control computer. The detailed structure of the LCP for the CDC-1604B with program descriptions and flow charts are presented herein. (Author)
