BULK EFFECT OSCILLATORS FOR FREQUENCY CONTROL.

Abstract

A refined version of the experimental apparatus used in the electrostriction measurements was constructed. Preliminary results obtained indicate that the anomalous electrostriction effect, if present, is much reduced in magnitude from that indicated in previous experiments. Results obtained with the evaporated contact oscillators indicate that the mechanism is still not fully understood. (Author)
