TESTS OF NAVIGATION LIGHTS FOR BOATS.

Abstract

Results are reported of chromaticity, intensity, and watertightness' tests on three navigation lights for boats to determine if these lights satisfy the applicable requirements of the Motorboat Act of 1940. The bow lights and the stern light failed to provide the required visible range throughout the required arc of visibility. (Author)
