SYNTHESIS OF AMINO AND HYDRAZINO DERIVATIVES OF ALICYCLIC AND HETEROCYCLIC SYSTEMS WITH POTENTIAL PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIVITY ON C.N.S.

Abstract

In fulfillment of the research project directed toward the preparation of compounds with potential activity on C.N.S., a group of 10 pyrazoles (probable formula I) was prepared, from 6-methyl- and 6-chloro-3-hydroxymethylene-4- chromanones by reaction with various dialkylaminoalkylhydrazines. A number of hydrazino derivatives of alicyclic compounds (formula IV) were obtained from 2-arylcyclohexanones acetylhydrazones by catalitic reduction to 1-acetyl-2(2'-arylcyclohexyl)hydrazines. Another group of hydrazino derivatives (formula VII) was obtained by reaction between 1-aryloxy-2,3-epoxypropanes and hydrazine. Finally, in order to obtain compounds with probable anti MAO activity, some compounds of Pargyline type (formula IX) were synthesized, starting from a terpenoid amine, camphidine. (Author)
