Abstract

F(18) tracer studies have shown the structure of O2BF4 to be O2(+)BF4(-). The kinetics of decomposition of the compound were also determined. The reactions of O2F2 with sulfur oxides have been explained in terms of an OOF intermediate. O4F2 has been shown to be a better source of OOF than O2F2. (Author)
