A STUDY OF INFORMATION FLOW IN MULTIPLE-COMPUTER AND MULTIPLE-CONSOLE DATA PROCESSING SYSTEMS.

Abstract

This report documents achievements from February 1966 to February 1967 of continuing research into the application of Queueing Theory and Markov Decision Processes to the design and investigation of multiple-computer/multiple-user systems. A summary of the theoretical investigations conducted, the major conclusions reached and some typical applications are included. (Author)
