Abstract

The high degree of concentration and sophistication of electromagnetic energy radiating and receiving equipments included in AWACS, impose mandatory rigid control of the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) area. This document represents the Contractor's Preliminary Electromagnetic Compatibility Control Plan for the system. It is the ultimate goal of this EMC control plan to provide the USAF with an electromagnetically compatible AWACS, tested in accordance with the requirements of Military Specification MIL-E-6051C.
