PLASMA PHYSICS AND IONOSPHERIC RESEARCH IN SCANDINAVIA.
Abstract
This report gives a partial account of plasma physics, ionospheric research, and radio wave propagation studies as carried out in five Scandinavian institutions: The Technical University of Denmark at Lyngby; the Riso Research Establishment of the Danish Atomic Energy Commission at Roskilde; the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden; the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm; and the Norwegian Defence Establishment (NDRE) at Kjeller, near Oslo. For each institution visited there is given first a general description of the establishment, next a report of the research activities actually visited, and last a short bibliography of recent papers and reports.
