WAVEGUIDE, WAVEGUIDE CIRCUITS AND ANTENNA RESEARCH STUDY.

Abstract

A number of single stage cutoff-coupled dielectric resonator filters were designed, fabricated and tested. The measured values of the resonant frequency, loaded Q and insertion loss at resonance were in very good agreement with values predicted from theory. A cascaded cutoff-coupled dielectric resonator filter was also fabricated and tested. The results of these measurements also confirmed the theory developed. The theory for the cascaded filter is however, not yet as completely developed as is the theory for the single stage filter. (Author)
