RESULTS OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE COST RESEARCH SURVEY WINTER 1967.
Abstract
This document contains the results of the recent survey of cost research activities undertaken by each Military Department and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The primary objective of this survey was to obtain and disseminate information as to DOD research activities on military systems cost analysis which has recently been completed, is currently being performed, or is planned for the near future. This information should permit Department of Defense agencies to make better use of this research and to indicate possible gaps or duplication in the cost research coverage. The term cost research, for the purpose of this survey, was defined as a study relating to the field of weapon or support system cost analysis whose results are intended to be applicable to more than a single, immediate, cost investigation.
