Abstract

This report describes the data storage cataloging system for all field data, data analysis bulk data, and laboratory results acquired in performing contracted tasks for Marine Geophysical Survey, Area 6. All support forms and logs executed aboard ship during survey operations are described in detail. Pertinent data derived from each log or form are encoded in a data-referencing system which is key-punched in IBM format for future computer usage. Any raw data type can be found by consulting a listing of the key-punched data. Similarly, any intermediate data analysis results can be found. Final data analysis results are found in other volumes of the SP95 series. (Author)
