RESEARCH IN DISCRETE INFORMATION PROCESSING.

Abstract

The research undertaken can be divided into two broad categories: (1) Problems in communication networks, and (2) Problems in pattern recognition, image processing, and stochastic processes. This final report attempts to summarize the principal findings on these problems. While some of these results represent satisfactory completions of problems, others are intermediate results of investigation still in progress and being supported by a successor contract.
