DUPLEXER FOR C-BAND ELECTRONICALLY SCANNED RADAR.
Abstract
This report covers the design, development, and fabrication of six C-band Duplexers. The C-band Duplexer consists of a strip transmission line circulator, a semiconductor limiter, and a single ended mixer. The duplexer was fabricated in a strip transmission line circuit and was designed to be compatible with a dual mode tube. The general performance characteristics for the duplexer are an operating frequency range of 5.40 GHz to 5.90 GHz, a 9.0 db overall noise figure when operated with a 60 mc if with a 1.5 db noise figure, and no degradation in noise figure when subjected to a 100 watt peak, 1 microsecond pulse over the -55 C to +55 C temperature range.
