ON THE SCATTERING OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES BY FLUCTUATING PLASMA IN THE PRESENCE OF A MAGNETIC FIELD.

Abstract

The scattering of electromagnetic waves by thermal fluctuations in a non-isothermal plasma contained in an external magnetic field is being considered. Density fluctuations as well as velocity of electrons and magnetic field fluctuations are taken into account. The spectral distribution of scattered radiation is determined. The scattering of waves by low-frequencies (Alfven and magneto-sonic) oscillations in plasma is investigated. (Author)
