HUMAN ENGINEERING PROGRAM,

Abstract

This document defines the Human Engineering Program plans for Phase III of the Supersonic Transport Development Program. A brief description of Phase IV and Phase V activities is included. The document describes the program plans for integrating the principles of human physical, psychological, and physiological characteristics for application to supersonic transport and ground equipment design. Discussed herein are the human engineering program management and support activities for the SST Development Program, including the approach to conducting personnel performance studies, workload and life support analyses, related test and evaluation effort, and production phase activities.
