SILVER-ZINC ELECTRODES AND SEPARATOR RESEARCH.

Abstract

Cells containing 30% Ca(OH)2 in the negative plate do not increase cycle life at 60% depth-of-discharge. Cells containing various percentages of carbowaxes in a 6000 molecular weight range do not appreciably affect cycle life at 60% depth-of-discharge. Specially prepared zinc oxides containing lead increase cycle life in cells by at least 50 cycles at 60% depth-of-discharge. (Author)
