Abstract

This book is intended mainly for military personnel dealing with cybernetics and automation. It deals mainly with the operation and maintenance of computers and complex automatic equipment. The book may also be used by civilian scientific and technical personnel working in this field. It is based on a series of lectures presented to the Polish Armed Forces by the authors during the 1960-1962 period. Chapter IV deals with computers, and describes their construction, operating principles, potential, and prospects for further development. (Author)
