BASIC RESEARCH IN THERMIONIC ENERGY CONVERSION.

Abstract

This report presents the results of the past year's work in a continuing program to investigate basic processes in thermionic energy conversion. The subjects discussed are: Computer Solution of Thermionic Converter Transport Equations, Multistage Ionization-Recombination Theory, Ion Current and Schottky Effects in Thermionic Diodes, and Interpretations for Effective Collector Work Function Variations.
