THE DATA EDITOR/DOCTOR. THE SECOND GENERATION ORBITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS.

Abstract

This report is a detailed description of the Data Editor/Doctor, the largest single task in the Second Generation Orbital Improvement Program -- a program designed to determine the orbit of a near - earth satellite using only doppler data. The program is implemented on an IBM 7094-I and 7094-II. This task, as well as the entire program, is written in assembly language and is executed under the control of the SOS Monitor. The physics of the program together with the program per se are described herein. (Author)
