EFFECT OF LIGHTNING ON MAN (UEBER DIE BLITZWIRKUNG AUF DEN MENSCHEN),

Abstract

A description is given of a seldom observed early stage of an accident with a lightning bolt, with the typical initial syndrome, including among other things state of shock, a myocardial manifestation not unlike an infarct and an exogenous psychosis, hanging on for weeks. A short review is offered on the clinical picture, pathogenesis, therapy and prophylaxis of accidents with lightning. (Author)
