A FIRST GENERATION SIMULATOR OF THE THAILAND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM.

Abstract

This paper describes a first effort to simulate the transportation system of Thailand. Although not programmed for computer use, the simulator is documented in flow diagram form so that it might be easily programmed. Movement of six basic commodities by highway, rail, and inland waterway is considered between major centers in the country. Input data is furnished, and a sample simulation is documented. Possible areas for future work are also discussed. (Author)
