OBLIQUE FLOW HEADERS FOR HEAT EXCHANGERS - THE INFLUENCE OF INLET VELOCITY PROFILES.
Abstract
The influence of inlet velocity profiles on the performance of oblique flow headers for heat exchangers is considered. It is shown that the theory based on a uniform inlet velocity profile provides an adequate design basis even if the inlet profile is not very uniform.
