SECONDARY COMBUSTION OF PENTABORANE-HYDRAZINE EXHAUST IN AIR.
Abstract
The installation of the first of two liquid micromotors is nearing completion. These facilities will be used for the determination of the characteristic velocity and chamber temperature and for analysis of the exhaust products. Installation of the combustor, air-heater and exhaust sampling equipment is under way. The spectral equipment has been assembled and will be installed as required. The experimental study of the combustion characteristics in air of the exhaust products of the pentaborane-hydrazine system will be initiated when the installation of the facilities has been completed.
