BICOMPONENT CHEMICAL FINISH SYSTEM FOR WEAVING CARBON AND GRAPHITE YARNS.

Abstract

A bicomponet chemical finish for providing interfiber lubricity, interyarn, and yarn to nonyarn structure abrasion protection has been developed which enables the weaving of carbon and graphite yarns into broad fabrics utilizing production power looms. A method of application, evaluation, and subsequent removal is described. (Author, modified).
