INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON COMPUTER CONTROL OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND PUBLIC SERVICES

Abstract

Sponsored by the Applications Committee of the International Federation for Automatic Control (IFAC), the Symposium convened at The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, from 11-13 September 1967. All scheduled speakers from the Eastern Block and India and a few from other countries failed to appear. The original program of 40 papers was reduced to 29, and the session on Theoretical Aspects of Automatic Control was cancelled. The technical program dealt with: water supply, oil refineries, power stations, vehicular traffic, and telephone systems. Selected papers are reviewed in detail in this Report. An Appendix lists all papers submitted.
