EUROPEAN SYMPOSIUM (2ND) ON MARINE BIOLOGY.
Abstract
An account is given of the Second European Symposium in Marine Biology, Bergen, Norway, which was attended by 150 scientists from 17 European countries. Following the general theme of the importance of water movements for biology and distribution of marine organisms, forty papers were presented dealing with various aspects of water movements, ecological and physiological effects of water movements, and water movements and distribution in European waters.
