THE DETERMINATION OF OXYGEN IN TITANIUM BORIDE BY INERT GAS FUSION.

Abstract

The correct conditions and parameters were determined for the determination of oxygen in a titanium boride matrix, using the inert gas fusion method. By varying the temperature and using an empty crucible, copper bath and platinum bath techniques, the conditions which gave optimum percentages of oxygen were determined. (Author)
