WAVEGUIDE, WAVEGUIDE CIRCUITS AND ANTENNA RESEARCH STUDY.

Abstract

A study of a new type of resonator called a rectangular beam waveguide resonator was begun. The derivation of the equation of the surface of the short circuiting end plate needed to form the resonator from a wave beam of rectangular symmetry and the derivation of the equation for the resonant frequency of the resonator are given. The analysis presented will be verified by making measurements and tests on a resonator now being fabricated. (Author)
