CONTRIBUTION TO THE ANALYSIS AND THE SYNTHESIS OF LINEAR EXACTLY DECOUPLED MULTIPLE REGULATING LOOPS (BEITRAG ZUR ANALYSE UND SYNTHESE LINEARER, EXAKT ENTKOPPELTER MEHRFACHREGELUNGEN).

Abstract

The article deals with such regulating systems where more than one quantity are involved mutually interdependent. Of the two problems to be solved here, decoupling the loops and designing each loop, the second one is treated in greater detail. The poles-and-zeros distribution is investigated for the simplest case of a two-loop system consisting of a main regulator, a decoupling network and the regulated plant. The exact cut-off frequency is used for determining the transient overshoot and time. This analysis is followed by the synthesis of an I- regulator for prescribed overshoot and driving transfer function. The root-locus and the Bode diagram are used in the design.
