COMPONENT EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE TC13 STEAM CATAPULT.

Abstract

The major programs conducted during this reporting period were: installation and test of prototype low-loss launch valves; modification and test of the rotary retraction engine; investigation of the A-7A steam-ingestion problem; and minor component development tests. Two Type I failures (must-stop-to-fix) occurred. (Author)
