BROADBAND LATCHING SWITCHES AND CIRCULATORS.

Abstract

Work during this period consisted of two major parts--further refinement of stripline and waveguide externally biased circulators and study of latching problems in the 1-2 and 2-4 GHz circulators. Configurations for the 1-2 and 2-4 GHz externally biased circulators were developed which essentially meet design goals for isolation and insertion loss. A latching 2-4 GHz circulator was constructed which duplicates results achieved with an applied magnetic field. In the 8.2-12.4 GHz waveguide circulator, an increase in bandwidth was achieved.
