MARINE AND LIFE SCIENCES IN INDIA

Abstract

The report considers the staff, facilities and research interests of institutions in India which have programs in the marine sciences and life sciences. Certain general aspects of the scientific community, the problems of development of research facilities, and the role of science in the development of India are also considered.
