DEVELOPMENT OF FATIGUE DATA FOR SEVERAL ALLOYS FOR USE IN AEROSPACE DESIGN.

Abstract

The manufacture of round forging specimens was completed and testing is proceeding. Some sheet specimens are still being manufactured. All of the room temperature fatigue testing on sheet material was completed and elevated temperature testing is in progress starting with PH 15-7Mo, RH 950. All tensile testing of notched specimens was completed. Much of the room temperature fatigue testing of forgings was completed and elevated temperature testing is now in progress. The first material to be tested is 17-7 PH, TH 1050. (Author)
