Abstract

The report presents the information obtained during a visit to the Metallurgy Department, University College of Swansea, Wales. The Report also describes a conference on the uses of electron microscopy in metallurgy. Sessions were devoted to defect studies structure and properties, phase transformations, recrystallization, copper based alloys, high temperature alloys, and some special topics. (Author)
