Abstract

This volume presents work on the technical system and implementation concepts for an evolving, integrated tactical command and control capability for the U. S. Marine Corps for the period 1975 to 1985. It presents a summary of the MTACC System concept, based on the study of current and anticipated technology and systems applicable to the achievement of required 1975-1985 functional system requirements, and the implementation concepts applicable to the development of the overall system. The MTACC technical system concept integrates the technologies of communication, display and computers to create a more responsive and efficient system for the commander in the field. (Author)
