STUDY OF THIN FILM OXIDE ELECTROLYTES.

Abstract

The purpose of the program is to produce and study the properties of doped zirconia films which are potential electrolyte materials for high temperature oxide electrolyte fuel cells. The report discusses (1) a technique for studying electrode polarizations based on AC admittance measurements, and (2) preliminary experimental results of such measurements on a dense Pt electrode at temperatures from 400 to 800C.
