LOGIC NETS, THEIR CHARACTERIZATION, RELIABILITY, AND EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS.

Abstract

The report consists of two parts. The first discusses a problem in the dual-support approach to network synthesis using threshold gates, gives new asymptotic results on the number of threshold gates and the size of threshold gate networks, and summarizes the work in threshold logic supported by this contract, including programs to facilitate experimentation in the design of networks of threshold gates. The second summarizes CDL1 - Computer Description Language 1 - which is formally and informally described in two other reports under this contract. Lists of contract reports and publications are included. (Author)
