QUALIFICATION TESTING OF WING II THROUGH WING VI CASES WITH THIN FORWARD SKIRTS

Abstract

A series of tests was conducted to determine the ultimate capability of Minuteman Third Stage Motor cases having a foreward skirt thickness below a previously specified minimum of 0.158 inch. A full scale motor and a forward skirt specimen were used in this analysis.
