POSITION LOCATOR (LWL TASK 03-P-63).

Abstract

The project was an evaluation of a man-packed Position Locator developed by Limited War Laboratory (LWL Task 03-P-63) to satisfy the requirement for a device to permit rapid and accurate position location on the battlefield. The device was evaluated during combat operations conducted in Vietnam by the U. S. 1st and 9th Infantry Divisions. (Author)
