M56 NYLON LIGHTWEIGHT LOAD BEARING EQUIPMENT (ENSURE 148).

Abstract

The study contains a test study made on the M56 Nylon Lightweight Load Bearing Equipment, by US tactical units in Vietnam. In addition, limited quantities were distributed to US Navy, US Marine Corps, and Australian Army Forces. Units were requested to field test this equipment for a 90-day period and, at the conclusion of the test period, submit a one-time report on any shortcomings, deficiencies, and suggested improvements.
