AN ANALYSIS OF USER-UNIT AND DIRECT-SUPPORT-UNIT REPAIR-PARTS SUPPLY OPERATIONS IN SEVENTH ARMY,

Abstract

One of the most important factors affecting the combat readiness of Army field units is the availability of repair parts (Classes II and IV supply). This report, the first in a series that will consider problems affecting repair-parts supply at all echelons from organizational (user-unit) level to the national level, presents an analysis of user-unit and direct-support-unit repair-parts supply operations within Seventh Army, Europe.
