QUICK REACTION STUDIES.

Abstract

The functional requirements of mission planning of space missions are documented. A discussion of the current applicable computer programs to some part of the mission planning process is included. In particular the Mission Analysis and Trajectory Simulation (MATS) system is described. The applicability of current programs to the demands of mission planning in a Quick Reaction Guidance Targeting (QRGT) environment is discussed. Guidelines are included for the development of QRGT Mission Planning as an automated capability in some future spaceborne software design and production facility. (Author)
