EVALUATION OF WELDABLE MULTILAYER PRINTED WIRING BOARDS BASED ON A SPECIAL TEST PATTERN.

Abstract

Forty multilayer boards with plated-through-holes and 10 with pillar interconnections were built to a special test pattern and subjected to a battery of electrical, physical, and environmental tests. An additional 10 boards, built by a welded process to a similar pattern in the extremely short time of three weeks, received the same testing. (Author)
