10,500-POUND-CAPACITY CONEX HANDLERS.

Abstract

The report describes a collapsible A-frame crane, powered by a 20-hp gasoline engine, that can handle Conex containers. There are two versions of this device: truck-mounted and wheeled (mounted on a single-axle trailer). Both can lift and lower a 10, 500-pound Conex container and hold it securely while the handler is being hauled or towed over rough terrain. (Author)
