RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF LOCALIZED DEFECTS AND HOT SPOTS IN HIGH VOLTAGE PNPN INVERTER SWITCHES.

Abstract

The work performed under this contract consists of essentially three phases: The development of measurement and evaluation methods for studying localized defects; The development of methods for the control of minority carrier lifetime and of the occurrence of localized defects; The fabrication and evaluation of a high-voltage p-n-p-n inverter switch, called Device 'D'.
