SOLID STATE MICROWAVE SURVEILLANCE RADIOSONDE SOURCES.

Abstract

The report covers the work performed during the first half of Phase II of a two-task program in the field of efficient, all solid-state, low cost microwave sources. Several experimental oscillators were built on a teflon-fiberglass board to investigate the effect of a stabilizing resonator. Efforts were concentrated to grow epitaxial GaAs material having a breakdown voltage of approximately 100 volts.
