WIDE-BAND PERFORMANCE EVALUATOR.

Abstract

The purpose of the program was to determine and develop techniques for evaluating the performance of wide-band radar systems. A repeater technique was chosen as being most suitable and a wide-band radar evaluator was breadboarded employing this technique. The breadboard model was tested in the laboratory employing a wide-band radar system exciter and signal processor. The results obtained confirmed the feasibility and suitability of this technique. Sufficient knowledge was gained to generate an evaluator design for a particular wide-band radar system, the Floyd Site Radar. (Author)
